Team Members

Part 3: Managing Team Members

Permissions can be assigned to specific users on both a function basis (to enter facts and evidence, manage users, create business area etc) or according to business needs. This is done in the “Team Members” section of the platform.

3.1. Permission-based access based on functions

Once a member has been invited to join an organization, permissions can be selected based on functional requirement. Most users will only require the ability to record facts and record evidence, however there are several other permissions that can be assigned to users.

A user can be setup with a pre-set of functions using permission groups, or assigned with custom set of permissions.

3.2. Permissions-based access based on business areas

In the example below, the user is an employee of Fund 2. The admin can grant access to the user for “Sustainable Tech Solutions”, without giving access to “Fund 1”, "Rocket Tech" or “Net Zero Private Equity”.

When a parent business area is selected to grant access, the user automatically receives access to all child business areas beneath the parent.
