For example, as a follow up to the custom indicator created in the previous Example Indicator: Employees working overseas– you can derive percentage of employees working on overseas missions.
The output indicator, “percentage of employees working overseas” does not exist as an indicator yet, so you must create that as a Custom Indicator.
Repeat the steps listed in Custom Indicators
Now head back to Calculated Indicators: click on "Create".
Fill up the respective form fields with the required information.
Since we are trying to calculate percentage of employees working on overseas missions, select 'calculate percentage' as the type.
Input 1 – Number of employees working overseas in Facility A.
Input 2 – Total number of employees.
Output – select Percentage of employees working on overseas missions.
Now upon clicking on the output indicator, we can see that the calculation we have created is functioning correctly, using the data tracked previously to compute the percentage of employees working on overseas missions.
