Part 11: Updating Dashboard

Dashboard is where users can find their key indicators, for easier monitoring purposes. Users can select key indicators to display here through tracked indicators page.

Lower and Upper Boundaries can be setup as targets for indicators. The charts will be highlighted in red if its indicator data has exceeded targets.

11.1. Key Indicators

The "Key Indicators" list on the Dashboard page enables users to select indicators for monitoring purposes. They include handy information such as,

  • Business area - to see how indicators in different regions are performing

  • Latest recorded period and value - to see if the indicator's facts are up to date

  • Upper and lower boundaries - to see if the indicator is performing within targetted boundaries

    • Entries that exceed boundaries are highlighted in yellow

11.2. Adding key indicators to dashboard

To add key indicators, first go to the Tracked Indicators page. Select indicators and toggle on Display Key Indicator on dashboard.

To remove indicators from dashboard, users can simply toggle it off the same button.

11.3. Displaying charts on dashboard

For quantitative indicators, the system can display time series on dashboard. To add chart, click on the triple dots on key indicators, select Edit chart. It will show the following pop up:

Choose Show boundaries if users want to display the boundaries on chart. Click Save, the dashboard will be refreshed with new chart.

Currently only quantitative indicators without categorizations are available to be shown as charts. More chart types will also be available in the future.
